The Atheros driver has been working for me for months without any noticeable problems. Windows knows a driver for this chipset and that solved it for me. Tuesday, October 8, I followed this procedure: I find Linksys or Microsoft should fix this before the release.
I would like to say that about a year and a half later, the problem still exists.
